Default A (pictorial) junket down memories lane_252

Here is a very edited list of my fave things in times gone along. I thought this might give you a giggle; it certainly made me chuckle (and cringe). Just goes to show when you're young you don't know any better :)
Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys: to me he had such a morose and pensive face. I was sure that one daytime we would encounter and make lyrical and intelligent music together. Back then I had no mind that he wasn't into ladies in that direction...
There's lots more, but I think we'll call it day...except I forgot, here is a pic of the car we had in the 1970's...
My Favourite TV shows (circa 1970's - 80's)
Powered by Qumana
My favourite candy (circa 1980's - 90's)
So here goes in not particular mandate (if this makes you smile, I'm pleased)...
Flying saucer sweets: I loved these too. These rice periodical saucers would thaw in your mouth to spill their fizzy sherbet contents above your tongue...mmm!
The Banana Splits: This show was such a wacky start to any child's weekend. This show was half one hour of bonkers lunatic havoc. So creative (or drug inspired who knows?)
Jackie: photo funny. This mag was full of rubbishy love anecdote positions done in inexpensive dodgy photography, but back then it was a bible when it came to studying approximately boys and making your 1st tentative (and cringe worthwhile) steps in mingling with the inverse ######. Shudder, men abercrombie T-shirts! I wouldn't work back to that old for everything.
The Twits: an of my fave Roald Dahl books, but then I love them all. This paperback is fair FAB for perusing to kids.
Cadbury's Curly Wurlys: I went through a quaint phase of dining one of these everyday for about 6 months. I average they're OK as distant as chocolate covered caramel goes (getting stuck in your teeth) but 6 months?!
Beano comic: I actually like the Bash St kids in particular I liked the character phoned Plug (the ugly children).
Tony Hart kids art program: There was this cute character called Morph on this show and he could morph into all sorts of fashions. He was Tony's cheeky side-kick and (in my attitude) the best part of the show.
My first pop star tramples (circa 1980's)
Scooby Doo: I muse that most will coincide namely this cartoon was best when WE were growing up that is, pre Scrappy Doo (who is sooooooo irritating!) Shaggy and Scooby were the best characters even now.
Are anyone of these your faves too? Why no share your faves with us; don't be shy :)
Popping candy: I loved this stuff! You put a few grains of this synthetic chemical ridden remedy on your tongue and await for a few seconds for your brain to burst, onitsuka tiger rotation 77!
Wonder Woman: OK perhaps her powers as a superhero were somewhat restricted (cuffs that can shun ammunition, nike zoom shoes, aptitude to jump tall and flee quickly, lasso things, and er....), but we were less claiming back then and she was so smart...weep,brand earphones!
CHiPS: this cop on bicycles show was so nonsense (and in retrospect beautiful camp),asics nimbus shoes, but as baby I bizarrely found it entertaining?

A groovy Ford Cortina! They're quite retro immediately, but male were they ever ugly behind then.
This was likewise the first album that I bought. I thought he was so cool and I just loved his moves. I bought myself couples of glittery silver socks that I used to dress as constantly as possible.
Favourite entities to read (circa 1980's)
**UPDATE** Charlie's Angels: Absolute brain mush both in the 70's and the after membrane edition. I loved them both He he!
Rebecca's World by Terry Nation: Such a brilliant and contained fantasy globe story with a brilliant graph and colourful characters. I re-read it every now and anew.
A (pictorial) voyage down memories alley
Hong Kong Phooey: "...or is it the mild mannered janitor?" I loved anything about this classy cartoon primarily his motorcar.
