With that in mind Designer Prom Dresses, Capital Christian High School's parent group, Parents Actively Working Side by Side (PAWS), is asking for donations of new or gently used formal wear: dresses cheap Formal dresses, men's and women's shoes, dress shirts, slacks A-Line dresses, belts cheap grad dresses, ties and other clothing.
The donations will be used for an upcoming "boutique cheap prom dresses," where students from Capital Christian High School and the nearby George Washington Carver School of Arts and Sciences will be able to pick out clothes for upcoming formal events.
Donations will be accepted in front of Capital Christian High from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Friday, Monday and Tuesday. They can also be dropped off at the attendance office inside the school from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"We were thinking of ways to help families save money with the cost of homecoming and the [junior and senior] galas long prom dresses," said Sheryl Raney, a parent and PAWS member.
Extra clothes that aren't picked up by students will be donated to Capital Christian Center's annual Evening of Dreams, a formal event for people with disabilities who didn't attend a high school prom.
"If I have any extra clothing, I want it to go to a good home cheap prom dresses 2011, not just some random place cheap long prom dresses," said Leslie Hansen Formal dresses, PAWS chairperson.
