Default MBT Walking Shoes A's, Rockies swap pitching prosp

The A's and Rockies exchanged pitching prospects on Monday, when Oakland sent Clayton Mortensen to Colorado in exchange for Ethan Hollingsworth. Mortenson, a former supplemental-round draftee, has pitched in the Major Leagues in each of the last two seasons, whereas Hollingsworth, a former fourth-round draftee, has pitched just two games above Class A.
Mortensen, the 36th overall selection in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft, began his career with the Cardinals before being sent to Oakland as part of the trade that netted St. Louis Matt Holliday in 2009. The right-hander made 26 starts for Triple-A Sacramento last season, notching a 13-6 record and a 4.25 ERA and striking out a career-high 112 batters.
Mortensen has posted a 31-27 record with a 4.29 ERA during his four-year Minor League apprenticeship, and he's gone 2-4 with a 7.12 ERA in seven big league starts. The 25-year-old made just one start for Oakland last season.
Colorado was forced to designate right-hander Samuel Deduno for assignment in order to make room for Mortensen on the 40-man roster.
Hollingsworth, just 23 years old, was selected by the Rockies in the 2008 First-Year Player Draft. The right-hander notched a 12-8 record and 3.31 ERA for Class A Modesto, striking out 153 against just 34 walks. He made a brief debut at Double-A Tulsa late last season, and for his career, he boasts a 24-24 record and 4.33 ERA.
Farmers Insurance signed on as title sponsor a year ago. Less than two months later, it extended its commitment through 2014. And what better than an insurance company to create some synergy with Torrey Pines, a public track that embodies hazards. The golfers are better off letting it come to them, and taking what it gives. Aggressive play could lead to a few claims, so to speak. Experience, patience and a well-rounded game are rewarded.
In 2010, Torrey South, which can be stretched to a healthy 7,MBT Kisumu,698 yards,MBT Shoes, scored as the 16th-most difficult course in relation to par; it was fifth-toughest of all par-72s in non-majors. It's ranked inside the top-seven in putting in each of the last five years. It was 11th in scrambling last year,MBT Lami, further emphasizing the need for precision around the greens.
Its little brother, the North Course, is some 700 yards shorter and ranked as the ninth-easiest track in all of 2010. It's not entirely a pushover,MBT Lami 18種常見室內植物的功傚, as it's been inside the top-five most difficult in fairways hit every year since 2006,MBT Shuguli Gtx, but guys will need to capitalize on their one crack at it.
Another week of favorable weather is on tap, and only a whiff of a chance of rain enters the forecast on Sunday. High temperatures will start in the 70s,MBT Walking Shoes, and then gradually recede into the 60s by the final round. Light-to-moderate winds will offer the only challenge if any.
