Roger Vivier
Born in Paris in 1907,

Vivier was known for his avant-garde, dramatically embellished designs using unusual heel fashions and substances. He was the premier to develop stiletto heels and to use plastics in his footwear.
When Vivier opened his corporation in 1963, he fired a collection featuring a rectangular metal buckle, square toe and low, boot-style heel namely would chance the label’s signature manner.
