The owner of fashion brands The North Face, Wrangler and聽Vans has agreed to buy Timberland, the outdoor clothing group, for around 2bn. As VF already owns brands <a href="http://www.nikefun.com/Handbags-Coach-handbags-f2-8.html"><strong>Coach Handbags</strong></a> such as The North Face, Vans, JanSport, Reef, lucy, Eastpak, Napaijiri and Eagle Creek, VF’s Chief Executive Officer Eric Wiseman said the addition of Timberland products will fit right in with what the Southern-based company <a href="http://www.nikefun.com/Accessories-Wallets-f2-38.html"><strong>wholesale wallets</strong></a> offers. According to VF Corp’s website, the company is targeting a 10 percent yearly growth for Timberland. In order to reach that goal, VF said it will leverage its international platform in locations such as Europe, Asia and Latin America. The website also claims that VF will leverage its direct-to-consumer platform by offering retail stores around the globe and enhancing Internet business.
