Kogan cuts netbook price

Low-price electronics retailer Kogan Technologies claims to get the first sub-$400 10in netbook in Australia. Initially selling for $499,Cheap Office Standard 2010, the Kogan Netbook is now priced at $399.

Specs incorporate a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1G of RAM,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Key,COM port on Win7 - PC Help Forum, a 160G challenging push,Buy Office Professional 2010, a 1024 x 600 exhibit,Office Professional Plus 2010 X86, 802.11b/g wireless, as well as a three-cell lithium ion battery.

The Pro model has similarly been diminished in value from $539 to $439. It incorporates 2G of RAM, a USB Bluetooth dongle, and a six-cell battery.

That six-cell battery may also be bought separately for $64.

"We have established ourselves as a leader in this market and our buying power is increasing every day,Office Standard Product Key," said company founder Ruslan Kogan.

"Through our direct business model we can cut out the middle men and pass on these savings to our customers," he added.

The Kogan Netbook ships with the gOS operating system. "We are huge believers in cloud computing and open source software. The reasons are simple, open source software is usually faster, better and has more features," said Kogan.
