With Seattle Fashion Week 2011 fast approaching, its volunteer, nonprofit team planned and executed the 3rd annual Comcast Student Fashion Designer Competition on last week Wednesday,chaussures tod9yL0acheter de tod'sLes 4 paires de, April 6th. The fashion competition showcased designers from all walks of life,tod bodson, varying from Mercer Island High School’s Cindy Wang to Columbia College Chicago’s Christina Yi to New York Fashion Academy’s student and winner of the design competition, Anna Dicklhuber. Among Wang were other Washington representatives, including Jamie Monsanto from Edwards Community College, Jennifer M. Lamb from Seattle Pacific University, and Michelle Gringras from the Art Institute of Seattle.

What would winning such a competition entail?
As winner of the design competition, Dicklhuber will receive a $1000 scholarship to sponsor her fashion-designing endeavors and a spot in this year’s Seattle Fashion Week, where her designs will march through the doors, leading her straight into the heart of the industry. Though only one could win, all the designers brought fire and life to Club Sur, the Sodo District’s newest club and bar. Models wore armor, pleats, and treasures down the runway before the 4 judges: Kim Lundien and James Todd, Creative Directors of Gene Juarez, Tanya Friberg, owner of Finerie, and Becky Sullivan, the original Comcast Student Fashion Designer Competition winner. Whether gold jewelry donned the models’ foreheads, fiery strands of extensions bolted from their hair,tod's, or red, yellow, and orange make-up dusted their eyes, the models’ intensities matched that of the beautiful clothes they wore. Each piece represented not only the designer’s vision of fashion’s current or future route but also the designers themselves.
These young designers’ strong fire and passion easily reverberated off their work and onto all of the spectators in the sold out and awestruck crowd. With years of experiences, bloody finger tips,tods0qMdtod 2010 tods penny loafer-tods kids shoes, broken sewing machines, ripped material, pins and needles, and dreams ahead of them, these high school and college students still have the time to set world alight in fire.
