I've been working in small sizes on panels <a href="http://zhengxing.99mr.com/xizhishoushen/"><strong>é�¢éƒ¨ç¥›æ–‘</strong></a> and odd sizes (&quot;tall&quot; paintings) on canvas, but now I'm back to painting on a large stretched canvas (44&quot; x 44&quot;).  Typically I begin an abstract painting with some sort <a href="http://zhengxing.99mr.com/waibijiaozheng/"><strong>æ*ªé¼»ä¿®å¤�</strong></a> of background to work off and then continue in an intuitive expressionist manner. This time I began with a plan in mind--an idea <a href="http://zhengxing.99mr.com/nanbiannv/"><strong>隆乳</strong></a> of what I wanted to do with this painting.  It was going to take several layers, and this first one is a background starting on the bottom with a medium cadmium red and working my way up through oranges, yellows, and parchment to white at the top.   Canvas #125, 44&quot; x 44&quot; acrylic on canvas.
