An obituary above Monday about the columnist
William Safire referred imprecisely apt a photograph he took of the “kitchen argue,UGG Classic Mini 5854,” the 1959 meet among Vice President
Richard M. Nixon and
Nikita S. Khrushchev, the Soviet earliest,Bailey Button Triplet 1873, in Moscow. His picture,Classic Argyle Knit 5879, although well understood, was no “the” one to chance “an icon of the encounter.” Another picture, by Elliott Erwitt, showing Nixon poking Khrushchev’s chest, likewise fulfilled iconic status.
