There was some rare detail directly from Lakers athletic trainer Gary Vitti about Kobe Bryant’s knee in Mike Trudell’s Lakers interview. Bryant’s knee is a crucial issue for the Lakers,
Kobe Dream Season, and I wrote about the knee entering the playoffs as not quite as worrisome as it sounded in Bryant embellishing it as “almost bone on bone” in a New York Post interview earlier in the season.
Bryant believes this offseason he will regain strength and power in his right knee that needed surgery last summer, and Vitti said: “Structurally there are some issues that cannot be reversed,
