Kobe Olympic, we are going to do a bit of a history lesson for you guys. The brand Asics was eventually created as the result of one man’s desire to create a good basketball shoe. Mr. Onitsuka studied and observed a basketball team in Kobe,
kobe bryant shoes 2011, Japan during the 1940′s, asking them what they felt was necessary to create the perfect shoe. It wasn’t until the ’70′s that he joined forces with two other companies to create the Asics brand.
Shown here are some shoes from their Spring 2011 lineup that focus on the history of the brand, utilizing some of Japan’s finest materials. No word yet as to their availability but stay tuned in for more information.
