The average of K-9 school tax bill would up 1.81 percent (about a $26.8 million )budget, The chairman of school claimed this monday

The budget would increase homeowners’ school tax bills by 20 cents per $100 assessed valuation. As a result, the tax bill for a home assessed at the borough’s average of $407,800 would rise by $83.85.
Schools Business Administrator James Davis said this year’s spending plan is a “maintenance budget” and that “no significant reductions” in programs or staff are expected.
