I had my camera at perform with me yesterday so I took a couple shots of my workplace. The first picture is my desk area … in usual disarray. (Not very exciting … I know.) This is my 9th workplace in the nearly five years I’ve been in Building 19. The second picture is of my buddy Frank. Frank is actually community property of Microsoft. He was passed to me by another recruiter, and if I ever leave, he’ll be passed on to another worthy caregiver. As you can see, I’ve taken the liberty of decorating Frank over the years. He’s a favorite of the children who pass through our building from time to time … especially around Halloween. In my previous workplace, Frank peered out the window, and I could hear recruiters telling interviewees to, "Go past the monster, and hang a right." Have a great weekend!
gretchen P.S. For anyone who saw me in the lobby of Building 19 on Thursday afternoon (you know who you are!) , I promise we recruiters don’t party quite that much. We have real jobs … we swear!
