Microsoft announced that XP mode on Windows 7 may be used with no hardware virtualization having a new program update. This update will work only on Windows seven Enterprise, Professional and Ultimate.
Until now,
Office 2007 Ultimate, XP Mode on Windows 7 was enabled only on the newer processors with hardware virtualization support – enabled in the BIOS. The users with older processors with out hardware virtualization until finally now, cannot use XP mode benefits even if they have enough fast processor to handle that virtualization. Realizing that,
Office Professional Plus 2007, Microsoft decides to remove these hardware requirements with method updates for both 32 and 64 bit Windows.
