The NYSGeneral Lawyer has a claw to the laws about the best way the proper treatment for some patients with such scenarios. The NYS Attorney General can also pass several laws regarding this and right now they prohibit the extracting of patient’s medical treatment if they cannot possess a Living Will, Health Care Proxy, or Advance Directives that can be signed by the client himself. There is a small modification done for change for the better here for mentally unable or mentally retarded patients to get the help or assistance or proxy off their relatives to sign the directives on their behalf.
