I am incredibly particular about my pillows. I would prefer to pack them and take them with me everywhere I go. But this is obviously not the most convenient situation, especially with the whole $15 per checked bag situation.
But I’ve never really thought much about my pillowcase,

Of course, I’ve heard of women who sleep with their hair set in rollers and wrapped in a silk scarf to keep it from frizzing up. It seems very old school and kind of glam, but nothing I’d ever bother to take the time to do. What I didn’t realize was that my choice of pillowcase can actually affect the way our faces looks too.

Come early fall, StudioBeautyMix Fred Segal will be selling the Beautyzzz (for about $47), a pillowcase that is designed to maximize your sleepy time so you wake up all refreshed and non-puffy. Turns out that the cotton versions that most of us sleep on are super breathable, but can also dry us out because they absorb water. It’s made from natural silk and is also allergen, dye, chemical and pesticide-free – which is apparently not the case with many others on the market.

The Beautyzzz is supposed to be more breathable than other non-cotton versions. And sounds pretty comfy.
And we’ll try anything once to help battle the insomnia that often keeps us looking less than our best in the morning.
