"Prom can be very costly for teenage girls," said Moss, who is also a mother of daughters. "The dress alone can cost her or her parents hundreds of dollars and they only wear that dress one night."
Moss came up with the idea of a formal dress resale company for an assignment in a business class at BYU two years ago.
"I had to write up a plan for a business and do a lot of research and I chose a business selling consignment prom dresses cheap short prom dresses," she said. "And my professor was so impressed he told me I should actually go ahead and do it."
