老人17年坚持接送六百孩子上下学
 

　　齐河县经济开发区火把张庄村民张光城今年83岁了，17年间，他接送周围4个村子的六百孩子上下学，从 未发生过一起交通事故，被孩子们亲切地称为“送学爷爷”。

　　17年间，张光城接送的孩子有600多人，从未发生过一起交通事故。有些他最初护送的很多孩子现在已经 大学毕业了，每次回到火把张庄，他们都会跑到路口给张光城打招呼，亲切叫他一声“送学爷爷”。

　　日前，在第三届全国道德模范评选表彰活动中，山东省共有10人入选道德模范候选人,手机窃听器何去何从。默默坚守了17年的一句承诺，使得张光城顺利入选诚实守信类候选人。

　　如今，孩子们上学要通过的308国道路口已经安上了交通指挥灯，然而83岁的张光城仍然坚持每天护送孩 子们，并且连邻村的韩庄、代庄、张辛庄的孩子也纳入他护送的范围。
　　说起这个昵称，张光城表示得从17年前讲起。


　　主动请缨成为“送学爷爷”

　　张光城看在眼里，疼在心里。为了孩子的安全，家长们每天接送孩子上下学。可接送的次数多了，大人们手中 的活儿又被耽搁了。“要是能把村里的孩子集中起来，找一个人护送他们过马路就好了，可谁愿意来干这活儿呢？ ”就在家长们讨论如何接送孩子的问题时，一个不幸的消息传来,监听器货到付款，村里又有一个孩子在上学路上被大货车撞断了腿。
