For all my shoe lovers out there,you will be too tickled pink about this post!Manolo Blahnik,the “shoe gods” for us chicas, launched their shoe line at Saks Fifth Avenue in Buckhead yesterday.I was too ecstatic to go check out the exclusive line made just for this fabulous department store.When I pranced into Saks, they had champagne pouring,light bites,nike air max shoes,music,cookies designed in the shape of stilettos,sketch artists and,of course,manolo blahnik shoes, Manolo Blahnik shoes displayed all over the store. There were so many heels to look at,and models were there dressed to the nines,christian louboutin pumps,wearing different styles of shoes for us to see.They also had a fashion presentation.The always-debonaire George Malkemus, president of manolo blahnik mary janes pumps.Was also in attendance to mingle with fans of the shoe line and discuss the latest collection. He picked out a great pair of funky shoes for me and said I would look nice in them.I modeled the shoes George suggested in my sketch,drawn by concept artist Joe Miranda.I had a great time learning about Manolo Blahnik and talking with a lot of the guests there.I was eyeing a hot pink suede pair and have added them to my wish list. There’s no mistaking it,when it comes to your feet they’re wider than the average girls.As long as you can find the perfect shoes for any occasion however,those double wide feet of yours are okay by you.But unless you’re having your shoes custom made or you don’t mind stuffing them into shoes that are way too narrow,you’ll need to know how to determine the width of your feet from one retailer to another.
