I travel to LA for business a lot and have stayed at the Wilshire Grand almost a dozen times now and had never been to Point Moorea until last week. A friend asked to meet up for happy hour on a Friday evening so I suggested we go there. The atmosphere was fun - they were showing sport games around the bar and people were playing pool in the back. The happy hour menu had great discounts which made me happy Newport 100s, but weary at the same time; how good would crab cakes be for $3 a plate? Well you definitely get what you pay for there. The food quality and service was mediocre although the price is very affordable.
Recommendations & Tips:
- Don't expect good deals on the drinks
- Stay away from the chicken satay and crab cakes
- You can't go wrong with a pina colada hot chicken wings Carton Marlboro!
