What occurs whenever a mobile phone company helps make a netbook? You obtain a "mini-laptop" which is linked on the brink. (The epically failed Palm Foleo notwithstanding, obviously.)
Nokia's Booklet 3G has (duh) 3G HSPA connectivity, a SIM card slot, and WiFi. Its super-thin 0.8-inch-thick,Microsoft Office 2010 Product Key, aluminum-encased body houses an Intel Atom processor,Office Pro Plus, an HDMI-out port, and an SD card reader.
The 10-inch Booklet arrives loaded with Nokia's individual Ovi computer software,Office Standard 2010 Key, which includes maps for assisted-GPS,Office 2007 License, access to the company's music retailer,Office Standard 2007, and wireless syncing using a Nokia handset. Nokia claims twelve hours of battery life.
Currently, no pricing data is offered, but a connected unit like this is probably to be mightily carrier-subsidized. We'll know more particulars after the Nokia Planet conference in September.
