LYNCHBURG, VA --

At E.C. Glass High School, a room that used to hold textbooks is slowly filling up with prom dresses.

“A lot of the dresses are really cute Plus size prom dresses (http://www.fashion7days.com),” said Junior Gretchen Roberts, who heard about a program called Becca’s Closet when she was a freshman.?

Becca's Closet is a national organization that collects prom dresses (http://www.fashion7days.com) to give to young girls who can’t afford them.

“This was something all the girls thought we really needed to do because it was important, and we?have really worked hard this year on making it happen," said Roberts.

Thanks to that hard work cheap grad dresses (http://www.fashion7days.com/),? dresses are coming in from local universities and surrounding states.

“The?girls involved really felt there was a need, not just at E.C. Glass Pink dresses (http://www.fashion7days.com/pink-prom-dresses-c-36.html), but across our area,” said Lori Croft, SCA coordinator.

The students found they were collecting so many dresses, that they had to find a way to organize them.? Fittings are confidential, and usually set up through area guidance counselors who know about Becca’s Closet.
