Hello,discount office Pro Plus 2007 (http://www.office-2010-key.net/office-2007),
I've a instant query I'd will need some clarification make sure you.
We're from the technique of planning Office2k7 deployment, microsoft office Professional 2007 license (http://www.office-2010-key.net/office-2007), there are
some settings which we will configure via the Office 2007 adm
templates "office12.adm".
What I'd like to know is I have successfully tested on my local
machine, genuine office Enterprise 2007 (http://www.office-2010-key.net/office-2007), I've configured the GPO through AD and deployed to my
Workstation.
I've copied the adm template to my "C:\windows\inf" then launch
Secpol.msc added the "workplace.adm" template via Add/Remove templates
and can see my workstation has the settings applied.
However what I don't know is if I'm going to deploy this globally to
all our workstations will copying the "office12.adm" template to the
workstations c:\windows\inf do or do I might need to run some commands to
then Add then template to the PC's GPEdit.msc/Secpol.msc for the
settings to take affect.
What I'm trying to figure out is as long as the office12.adm exists in
the c:\windows\inf directory the Office GPO settings will be enforced
or must the template exist in c:\windows\inf and also be added as a
"Administrative template" inside GPO console.
Many thanks
