issue I really like about Microsoft could be the “continued education” we produce and assist. The company offers a tuition reimbursement program for formal continued education (like an advanced degree), but for people like me (who succumb to stress-induced fits, nightmares, and hives when presented with the thought of “real” school … coupled with the fact I could never balance education and a fulltime job … but that’s just me) …. You can learn how to code in C#. You can learn how to most effectively prioritize your time. You can learn how to manage outside vendor relationships. You can learn how to use Excel pivot tables like a wizard. You can learn how to drive a project from inception to completion. There’s really a lot of options. all this, in part, to explain to you why I’m not blogging as of late.
