Just asking yourself if acer tends to make good quality laptops... I located a fantastic hunting one on newegg.com and it can be quite fairly priced (<900),Office 2007 Standard Product Key (http://www.msoffice2007key.biz/office-standard-2007-key.html), but I've never used an acer before. I know newegg has a really good reputation, but I was hoping someone could help me out with acer.

since Aug 2004 I just purchased an Acer 5400 from Micro Center. 949.00 less $150 rebate less $100 rebate if I signed up for their credit card. Not bad for a 100 GB hd, 1GB memeory,Office Professional 2010 Key (http://www.windows7prokey.net/office-professional-2010-64-bit-x64-product-key.html), 15" screen, XP Pro, etc. etc.
My son works in IT and has a single and likes it. He says that the screen doesn't work if you are in the sun,Microsoft Office 2007 Key (http://www.mswindows7key.net/office-2007-key), so check out where you sit in realtion to the Light!
My company's IT guru,Microsoft Office 2010 Key (http://www.windows7productskey.com/office-2010-product-key), whose title is "chief cynic" also likes it.
So I bought it.
Now I need time to set it up.
BTW. Avoid the 3 yr warranty jazz. They have, if you ask for it,Office 2010 Standard Product Key (http://www.office-2007-key.in/office-standard-2010-64-bit-x64-key.html), a Bronze 1 or 2 year plan for 99 or 129 that seems sufficient.
HOpe this helps.
