The attack only affected Web surfers inside the Northern California area and lasted less than an hour, the organization stated.
"We analyzed the designs and were capable to place mitigation actions in place in minutes of identifying the assault," Neustar said from the statement sent to SecurityFocus. "We had everything beneath management properly under an hour."
The attack brought on connectivity troubles with Amazon and its Web services, in accordance to media reports.
