Time for my most recent “pulse check” on what folks are declaring about Microsoft Recruiting. I read a lot of feeds, and while I can’t include every relevant item I see,Microsoft Office 2010 Home And Business (http://www.key-windows7-key.de/office-2010-key), I do try to include the highlights and offer a balanced view ... LiveBlog: my interview with Microsoft, by Ryan
In the last report,Office 2010 Activation Key (http://www.key-windows-7.co.uk/office-2010-key), I linked to Ryan, who reported back on his first round interview with Microsoft. Well, now he talks about the final interview day! (He just interviewed this week so he doesn't have a result yet … fingers crossed!) And a Promise Retracted, by Rahul
Rahul survives a form letter rejection (yuck) only to receive an invitation for final interviews. Rahul,Windows 7 Pro Key (http://www.windows7serialkey.com/), keep us updated! I hope Microsoft is able to turn the experience around for you! Microsoft Interview,Microsoft Office Standard 2007 (http://www.windows7-key.in/office-2007-key), by Tejas
Yeah,Windows 7 Serial (http://www.office2007key.us/windows-7-key), it’s a roller coaster of an experience, but in the end, Tejas got an offer … and liked us! These were the most professional recruiters i have ever come in contact with and believe me, i have had lots of interviews, ranging from small SEO companies to large companies, like JCPenny. These recruiters have really impressed me so far.
I’ve also noticed two trends. 1) There’s a lot of chatter on forums and other sites about Microsoft interview questions. Most people don’t seem to be actively interviewing … they just seem to be posting and answering the questions for fun. I’ve always known about the big interview question banks, and based on the number of discussions I’ve noticed, I bet those other interview sites are getting a lot of hits these days It feels like 1999! . 2) Many people are posting about Microsoft interviews and then deleting their posts. I can see the post in the RSS feed, but then it’s been taken down by the time I get there. Why? Paranoia? I don’t know. Too bad because the excerpts I read seemed to be really interesting. I hope I’m not scaring people away. ;-) I also noticed that a blogger (not a "recruiting blogger" ... just a normal blogger recently accepted a job as a Microsoft Recruiter. I was going to link to her post, but since I know some MS employees like to seperate their blogging life from their work life, I have not linked until I can figure out the direction she plans to take with her blog. But I'll follow it, and if she decides to keep on blogging now that she works for the big M (I hope so!), I'll link you all up. gretchen
